The PowerTel 2780 from Amplicomms is a cordless Dect phone with an answering machine with a recording capacity of 30 minutes that allows you to make calls via handset as well as hands-free. With this DECT phone, you can adjust the speaker volume and ringer volume to a higher level. You can increase the volume of the speaker/horn by 40 DB and the ringer by 90 DB. You can adjust the volume of the handset during the call. This makes this phone ideal for the hearing impaired. This phone works very well together with a hearing aid. The phone has an amplifier key and a large display with bright -, blue illumination. This phone has a phone book for 100 names and numbers. Very practical is the night mode, which ensures that when you receive a call during a duration you set, no sound is played and you are not disturbed; the call goes directly to the answering machine. With fully charged batteries, this device has a standby time of about 100 hours and a talk time of about 10 hours. When the batteries are running low you will see an icon in the display.
