Oticon – Prowax System: Preserve the clarity of your hearing aid

This filter system is suitable for custom shells and in-the-ear hearing aids.

At Oticon, we understand how important it is to protect your hearing aid. That’s why we use filters that protect your hearing aid from wax, moisture, flakes and other debris. These filters should be changed occasionally, although the frequency may vary from person to person. We recommend that you check the filter weekly and replace as needed.

You can also tell by the sound when the filter needs replacing. The sound may become weaker or sound irregular. If the filter becomes completely clogged, your hearing aid may appear to be defective.

Be sure to replace your filter in a timely manner. Nothing is more annoying than not being able to hear sound during an important moment!

At Oticon, we have different types of filters available. It is important to always replace the correct filter with the same type, as each filter has a different size.
