These universal earbuds are your own volume “buttons” that you can wear as a fashionable gadget. They offer hearing protection where you can adjust the attenuation yourself in different sound situations, without having to take the plugs out. The principle is simple: by turning the ring you can incrementally adjust the attenuation of the hearing protection: 0dB, 10dB, 20dB or 30dB. No electronics or batteries are used, making them very user-friendly. With the three included sizes of universal caps, you can find which size fits your ear canal best so they are sure to stay in place. An additional hook, called a zeppelin, is inserted into the concha of the ear canal for added strength. Providing the different parts in white, black, silver and gold colors allows you to determine the look of your Knops hearing protection. The applications of this hearing protection are many. Plug in the hearing protection and leave it at 0dB if you want to hear everything as it is. Street noise or disturbing noise on the streetcar can be reduced with a simple twist of the ring. Increase the attenuation during a concert to protect your hearing but turn it down a bit if you want to stand and chat with someone. Focusing on work becomes even easier when the environment is quieter and you can pick up the phone afterwards with the ring turned off. Knops Earplugs The Knops earplugs are the first analog adjustable earplugs. The Knops earplugs work like a volume knob with four settings. You can choose from inappropriate sound, complete silence, a noisy city and live music. You can easily adjust the volume of the earbuds. Besides being a volume control, Knops earplugs also protect you from harmful sounds. Knops earplugs use no electronics, meaning no batteries and no apps. Instead, the earplugs work completely acoustically. The earplugs were developed using testing in an acoustic laboratory and computer simulations.

• HOW DO THEY WORK? – Knops is the volume control for your ear. The stylish hearing protector has 4 different settings that filter a minimum of 0 decibels (clear sound), 10 decibels (city environment), 16 decibels (music settings) and 21 decibels (isolation), respectively. You can easily switch between the four different settings by turning the ring with extra grip.
• IN THE PACKAGE – The Dutch-designed Knops come in a stylish three-piece box. Standard silicone ear tips are attached to Knops. However, there are also comply foam ear tips (small, medium and large) included that mold to your ears and in some cases lead to even better closure. Finally, in the package you will find a handy carry case to store and take your Knops with you.
