Oticon Dampers is a filter system that can be used in tone bends.

Oticon uses filters to protect the hearing aid. The filters protect against cerumen (earwax), moisture, flakes and other debris. The filter must be changed occasionally. How often the filter needs to be changed varies from person to person. Hearing Good recommends checking the filter every week and changing the filter if necessary.

You can also tell by the sound that the filter needs to be replaced. The sound may diminish or be variable. Is the filter completely clogged? Then it may appear that the hearing aid is defective.

Therefore, replace your filter in a timely manner. It’s a shame to be without sound just in an important hearing moment!

Oticon has several types of filters. Always change the filter, for the same filter. Each filter has a different size.
