Description
Widex Sleeve Power – Domes specially designed for your hearing aid
As a Widex hearing aid wearer, you know how important good fit, comfort and sound quality are. Widex Sleeve Power domes – also called Power domes – are specially designed to provide hearing support for moderate to severe hearing loss. These small, soft silicone domes are placed over the speaker of your hearing aid and provide an optimal seal in the ear canal, allowing sound to come in properly amplified.
What are Widex Sleeve Power domes?
Widex Sleeve Power domes are interchangeable silicone plugs that snap onto the receiver (speaker) of your Widex hearing aid. They are designed to direct sound correctly into the ear canal while providing comfort and protection from moisture, earwax and dirt. The Power variant is completely closed and without vents, ensuring maximum amplification of sound without feedback.
Available in four sizes
Every ear canal is different, which is why Widex Sleeve Power domes are available in sizes:
-
XS – extra small
-
S – small
-
M – medium
-
L – large
The right size ensures not only a comfortable fit, but also optimal sound quality. A properly fitting dome prevents sound from leaking out and reduces the risk of feedback or other distortions.
When should you replace domes?
For best results and for hygienic reasons, it is recommended to replace the domes about once a month. If the dome is more likely to become damaged, deformed or contaminated with earwax, it is wise to replace it sooner. Changing in a timely manner will keep the hearing aid working optimally and prevent blockages that can muffle sound.
