Hearing protection with an impulse filter. Provides constant attenuation of 20 dB and at peak noise (e.g. a shot) 33 dB attenuation. Hearing protection when shooting Earplugs with a filter specially developed for shooting sports. These filters have a continuous attenuation of 20 dB. As soon as there is automatic fire, single pistol shots, artillery fire or explosions the filter immediately detects that there is an impulse sound. The filters immediately correct that sound with a 33 dB attenuation. This shooting hearing protection is designed specifically for military use and is also in use by NATO soldiers, police and firefighters. The continuous attenuation of 20 dB, gives a suppression of ambient noise. A conversation can be followed perfectly and you remain aware of your surroundings. Cresendo Shooting 20 is intended for use during peak noise. They are not classified as hearing protection according to European standards. Difference between Crescendo shooting 20 and Crescendo shooting 20 multi-mode The difference between the shooting and shooting multi-mode is that with the multi-mode you get a choice. When you have the hearing protection in, you can “convert” the filter to fullblock mode. The hearing protection then gives a constant attenuation of 33 dB.
Comfort
The earplugs are made of hypoallergenic material. This makes them wearable all day without irritation. They fall nicely into the ear canal making it fine to wear a communication headset or ear muffs over them. Just be sure to maintain the hearing protection properly to avoid irritation. Placing both earplugs properly in the ear canal preserves your directionality and spaciousness in hearing.
